Last January 2013 the Honourable Edward (Ed) Fast, the Canadian Minister of International Trade, led a 29 member Canadian business delegation to Ghana. Minister Ed Fast expressed Canada's interest in lending Canadian expertise to Ghana, as well as investing in the country.
AKSA Group's Chairman and CEO, Nurdin (Dinu) Samji, and AKSA Group President, Kamaal Samji, had the honour of meeting with Minister Ed Fast during his visit and had the opportunity to discuss upcoming projects in Ghana.

On January 31st, 2013, AKSA Group met with His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana. The meeting was held at the President's offices in Accra, Ghana and was attended by a Canadian Delegation led by the Honourable Edward Fast, Minister of International Trade for Canada, and Her Excellency Trudy Kernighan, Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana.
AKSA Group was instrumental in facilitating the meeting and was honoured to represent Canadian business together with the Canadian Delegation and the Canadian Commercial Corporation.

The newly appointed Minister of Finance, Mr. Seth Terkper, was sworn in on January 30th, 2013 by Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama.
Mr. Seth Terkper held his first meeting as the offical new Minister of Finance on the same day with AKSA Group, CCC, and Dessau, to discuss key infrastructure projects in Ghana.

On December 7th, 2012, the 犀利士Canadian Commercial Corporation, in collaboration with AKSA Group and DDV Enterprises, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the planning and construction of the Van Don airport in Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam.
